Problem Entering "~" for HTC Dream/G1 #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. To get an "~", we need to press ALT + @
2. It does not register the press (either simultaneously or when entered 
one by one).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of getting a "~", we get nothing displayed on the screen.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
DosBox 0.1 Alpha. On a HTC Dream/G1 physical keyboard, using Cyanogen Mod 
4.2.14.1

Can't type "/" either... I'd say fix the virtual keyboard and make sure that 
all 101 keys of a normal keyboard are there on it and working. Then I'd work on 
the sound/speed/memory allocation issues.

This project is alive still I hope? I haven't heard of any progress... even if 
there isn't regular updates to the version it'd be nice to know that bugs are 
being worked out. I'm starting to think that this is a dead project.
