Just as a user convenience, it would be nice if the resolver search results were hyperlinked when possible. There are two levels at which this could be supported.
With a link to some 'home page' for the source in question. For example, if I search for Rana pipiens, the first result is for NCBI, so there could be a link to NCBI Taxonomy. For Union 4, the link could be whatever the published description of Union 4 is. (Is there one?) For freebase, the wikipedia article. And so on.

More ambitiously, for NCBI, there could be a hyperlink to https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Taxonomy/Browser/wwwtax.cgi?mode=Info&id=8404, and for EOL, http://eol.org/pages/1019093/overview (not synonym)... I suspect the identifier information is available at the time the information is harvested and substituting into a URL template will usually give a taxon-specific page.
I would find this kind of thing very useful for the kind of debugging I do.
