Improve trace entry storage efficiency

When using ORM that generates lots of huge queries, the trace entry storage tends to dominate the disk space requirement (since trace entries contains the full query text). There is lots of opportunity to optimize this since typically there is just a small(-ish) set of prepared statements that get executed over and over and over.
