Errors are not captured under Wildfly #312

Hi @webjoel, is this code inside of a transaction that Glowroot knows about? The error logging should trigger the transaction to be marked as an error and trace to be stored (and so you should see it in Errors). You can confirm the config setting for this under Configuration > Plugins > Logger, e.g. https://demo.glowroot.org/config/plugin?plugin-id=logger. Throwing an exception doesn't automatically mark the transaction as an error, only if the exception propagates all the way up to the Transaction boundary (e.g. Servlet). |
Hi @trask, yes, Configuration > Plugins > Logger is correct and code inside in transaction:
"execute" method is:
"Error" log in jboss:

Hi @webjoel, I notice from the stack trace that this is occurring inside of a JMS If you still don't see anything, can you set the Slow threshold to 0 under Configuration > Transactions (e.g. https://demo.glowroot.org/config/transaction) and see if glowroot captures a slow trace under Background transactions (e.g. https://demo.glowroot.org/transaction/traces?transaction-type=Background)? |
Hi @trask , thank's for the attention. 1- Yes, in web and background not show errors. |
Hi @webjoel, could you describe your environment/setup so I can try to repro? Thanks. |
Hello, this is:

Hi @webjoel, thanks for reporting this! I was able to reproduce, and it should be fixed now in the latest snapshot release glowroot-agent-0.10.4-SNAPSHOT-dist.zip. |
Hello!
In the option Errors tab no error is being displayed, even though I generate errors in the application. Is there any configuration and be done?
My tests:
// test 1 (org.apache.log4j.Logger)
Loggable.log.error("testing..", new Exception("test 1"));
// test 2
if (1 == 1) {
throw new Exception("test 2");
}
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
