Two options, take automatically the first paragraph as summary. Or expect summary in blog post file itself. Second option gives more freedom to choose the summary text(can be different than the content).

Or if summary is set, take from that else take the first paragraph(https://jekyllrb.com/docs/posts/#post-excerpts)
