Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently, the small application relies on many dependencies either on backend and frontend.

Describe the solution you'd like
A review on all dependencies is interesting for maintainability purposes, as well as performance purposes. Removing unnecessary dependencies would improve all aspects of the application.
