Метод _grid_match_data класса IonexMap из модуля ionex.ionex_map не позволяет работать с картами, пределы осей которых имеют одинаковый знак (региональные карты).
Можно ли заменить условие проверки с (abs(start) + abs(stop)) / abs(step) + 1 на (abs(stop - start)) / abs(step) + 1?
