they're very different projects. https://github.com/alecthomas/participle/ is used to generate parsers. you can use it to parse pretty much anything, but i have specified a grammer able to parse gdnative_interface.h here: https://github.com/godot-go/godot-go/blob/master/cmd/gdnativeparser/clang/parser.go

this converts the c header file into an AST where i can then generate custom wrapper code around.

here's an example of the parser for function pointers:

i tried using c-for-go just a couple years back on my 3.x branch, but it just didn't play well with function pointers.

i'm generally go by trunk-based development and so i normally stick with main. i haven't had a chance to work on the project recently. i'm somewhat waiting for go to get object pinning so that we can pass go memory around through cgo.

just wanted to update everyone that godot-go is now running against godot 4.2-dev6. the Dodge the Creeps demo has been updated and runs without crashes on my linux machine.
