f-strings aren't worth this big incompatibility.

Start with changing appveyor to run Python 3.4.

On a second note, most people should be able to run 3.6, since if you are running a previous version, you should use virtualenv or conda. It's just I that have complicated it for myself by activating a conda in .bashrc.
