Hi,
to start with, I am not an Android developer, but I want this app. So...

I spend a lot of time to just getting it installed on a Moto G5 smartphone android 8.1.0.
The main reason was the line 'Select the "CaptureSync" directory.' in the Installation instructions, which should have been the libsoftwaresync-master directory with the green android icon. (I couldn't 'Click "Open an existing Android Studio project". ' only 'open...' was available. Android Studio 2020.3)
It might be obvious for android developers, but I hope this helps other newbee's.

But when it was installed: as soon as I started the app, I got 'CaptureSync has stopped' (in Dutch) in a white messagebox.
I tried different settings for wifi and hotspot, and deleted cache and data for CaptureSync. But have no solution yet.

Please help me.

I had the same issue on both virtual and physical devices.
Looking forward to a solution...
