The broken link used to redirect here: https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/data/geotargets#dma

metros are the proprietary codes used and maintained by The Nielsen Company and known as Designated Market Areas (DMA). While these codes are controlled, they are also findable using your favorite search engine.

I'm seeing the link on the GeoChart documentation page to metropolitan area code, which results in a 404 Not Found error. This page might be helpful: Geo-targeting - Studio Help. Or maybe this: How to Get Metropolitan Codes for Google GeoChart API | Super Store Finder – Community and Support
