I'm using os x 10.9, after brew install ios_webkit_debug_proxy

I can list my devices on port 9221
but can't open inspect page on my ipad

iOS Devices:
localhost:9222 - Sean's iPad

But port 9222 fail to load Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to localhost:9222

Have you enabled the web inspector? On your iPad go to "Settings > Safari > Advanced" and toggle to ON the Web Inspector switch. Also, this feature is available only on iPhones and iPads with iOS 6 or greater.

@gere
thx! I didn't know I need to toggle the option, now I can click the device link and see the tab opened in my ipad safari.

But when I click the tab link, I get No data received in chrome, and the console log send failed: Socket is not connected

I get this "socket" error too sometimes. The only workaround I have found so far, is to restart the computer. Not the most elegant, but still...
