To reproduce:

  • Install Android app from appstore
  • Start the app, go to setting to enable mDNS support
  • Publish an mDNS entry from a Linux machine using Avahi. Example: avahi-publish --service "Msgflo" _physicalweb._tcp 80 "A nice system"

Expected:

  • The service is shown as available in the app / notification

Actual:

  • Android app crashes. "Unfortunately, Physical Web has stopped"

Also pressed "Report" in the Android app a couple of times, so hopefully you have gotten some crash reports there.
