Section 7.3, in particular, was never really supported.

Much of section 7 should be moved to an appendix or excised entirely.

New idea: excise section 7.2 and 7.3, and collapse 7.1 into 7.

We might reference that Whois/RDAP and DNS/NAPTR had previously been considered for future work but removed for now.
