The heatmap view is nice, but it could add more functionality by allowing for clicking on certain squares or click+dragging over multiple squares which would then change the filter for the displayed events.

the heatmap has been deprecated in the new UI. We will look into reimplement using Vega-lite, and at the same time make it interactive.

I'll change the title to reflect this
