Hi All,
Deployed a Vertex AI vision app using Vision AI warehouse as a node to store the output.

After going to the warehouse- > view assets: there seem to be some assets here, but they are greyed out and not accessible.

Q1: Are these assets labeled clips from when objects are detected from the model? In other words, when bigquery output is linked to the Warehouse, are the assets labeled?

Q2: Is additional configuration or time required to view these? Checked right after testing the model and they didnt show... waited 2 days and tried again but they still aren't available.

Best,
Brendan

Hi Brendan, the last screenshot shows the live view of the asset, and it's expected to be grey if the ingestion of the stream stopped.

You could view the saved video clips after you entered a date range and hit the "search" button.

Hi @AnnikaZhang ,
Searching for the files shows the thumbnails, but there's no availability to see the files:

  • In the browser in GCP: The file can't be viewed or previewed
  • On Download: The asset is empty i.e. all the downloaded assets are blank black .mp4s.

Any suggestions on what's happening?

Hi Brendan, thanks for the information! Could you verify whether the data in the stream is not all back images?

There are two ways to check

This can help to make sure the source (camera) is functioning as expected.
