responsive width 800px doesn't work on ipad after orientation change

I've defined a responsive width of 800px. This should show the drawer in landscape mode, but hide it in portrait mode.

It works correctly for the initial view. But nothing is adjusted when the orientation is changed later.

Expected result: after an oriantation change the drawer should be shown/hidden based on the current orientation.

This problem is caused by googlearchive/core-media-query#2 (including a potential fix)
