Hello,PhD Belanger.Excuse me,I'm an university student and I have interest about your paper:Biological Sequence Design using Batched Bayesian Optimization. However,I have a little question about protein contact Ising Model. The experiment need contact energy for every edge, then I have read a similar paper MODEL-BASED REINFORCEMENT LEARNING FOR BIOLOGICAL SEQUENCE DESIGN.In this paper the experiment have used a pair potential based on co-occurence probabilities derived from reference. But I don't how to calculate the pair potential from reference.so could you tell me the values of this potential or how to calculate it.I would appreciate it very much if you could reply to me.Thank you very much.
