Browser Quickstart causes error: The API Key and the authentication credential are from different projects #74

Expected Behavior

When the QuickStart example is followed to the last step, the outcome is suppose to be a listing of max 10 users.

Actual Behavior

An error occurred, with message: The API Key and the authentication credential are from different projects

  • Browser: Chrome Version 87.0.4280.88 (Official Build) (64-bit)
  • OS: Linux x86_64 GNU/Linux (Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS)

Removing the API key as reported for other error fixed this issue for me.

Weird because this official Quickstart sample code specified to generate the API key and include same in the code.

Also, if it may help, I just found that Enable the Directory API button and the Create API key both create new, separate projects, before doing their stuff
