+1, really needed, and also documentation needs to be updated. Since the package has been updated to 0.0.24, functions like select() and select1() have changed and create errors in my project.

@jacks50 Please open an issue about the errors you're seeing. I'm not aware of any breaking changes to select() or select1() and will prioritize fixing them.
