Summary in text:

  • Have the 'check JOSM' box response altered to: '.. is it running? If so, hit the 'load certificate' button on the left, and allow for a safety exception rule to be set.
  • Load certificate loads this page: https://localhost:8112/version

This is fixed in browers now, localhost is excluded from SSL cert validation, most browsers work fine now
