I have a spare mining rig with 6 GPUs (currently running ubuntu 16.04 LTS), is there any way I could utilize all 6 of them using gpujs?

It depends on which GPUs you are using.
You can see what WebGL is using by visiting this page and looking at "Unmasked Renderer": http://alteredqualia.com/tmp/webgl-maxparams-test/
If you get Chrome using multiple GPUs, GPU.js should do the same.
