Some GPS use the instructions that Graphhopper can return.
The idea would be to do like plotaroute, or routing created them but we can modify them. Its instructions are returned as waypoints in a gpx and course points in a FIT file.
With a garmin gps this is called turn by turn.

It would indeed be very useful, but I think GPX files lack support for this feature.
Your idea to include them as waypoints is not bad.
Since this is a little bit invasive, it could be added as an option related to this feature idea: #61.

Yes I know less about GPX files, I just see what other editors do with point races in GPX format. But in TCX the information is used but I don't know how they should be put.

I think it would look like a roadbook for rallyes, so a very big enhancement indeed ! Not sure this is a must have for this very specialized editor.

I raise the subject since it is available now on brouter some use it and export as https://bikerouter.de/ and for GPX it is extensions depending on the application that will use it. Maybe it's heavy to set up. For my case it's for FIT files ;)
