I think I am facing the same issue.

I get this error as soon as I try to install AssistAI as described in the README.md on Eclipse IDE 2023-09 (4.29.0), running on Ubuntu 23.04 with gtk 3.24.37 and Java 17.0.8.1:

Hi,

I am not sure why eclipse is asking for this file during the installation. However, I have upadated the installation instructions. Please try installing the plugin via Marketplace. I find this method more robust and less hassle.

@tpiekarski I have not tested the plugin on Ubuntu. The plugin uses Edge browser to render the chat, so it may not work on Linux. I wonder if Eclipse would switch to another webkit browser on Linux.

Cheers,

/w.

Hi, I have the exact same problem. I tried to install:

  • on a new Eclipse 202309 installation :
    ** by update site
    ** by market place
** by the "drag and drop" button "install"

  • on a new Eclipse 202309 installation :
    ** by update site
    ** by market place
** by the "drag and drop" button "install"

Nothing works.
