What's happening:
I was thinking that I should be easily be able to say, use the Graph or Time-series panel to graph issue counts over time (time on X axis and issue count on Y axis), since there's a selector for "Time field" that can be set to "CreatedAt", however that doesn't seem to be possible or at least not straightforward, as the query inspector indicates the returned values aren't time series that could be graphed. It's possible some transformation incantation could help but after some fiddling it still wasn't clear to me.
What I expected to happen:
I'd expect this to be easier, or at least to have some documentation indicating how to do it if it's tricky!

I see some of this is also discussed in #62 , but I'll let the maintainers decide if this is considered a dupe or not (since this is also asking for docs clarification).
