Use variable to filter

Hi,

I do not know if there is a way to use the variables to filter the rows I want. Let me explain with an example:

Name	Object	Usage
Joe	Computer	5
Joe	Mobile	8
Joe	Monitor	1
Jane	Computer	4
Jane	Telephone	2
Bob	Printer	2

In that case, I take the names as variable and I want to represent in a bar chart the usage of an object selecting the name to filter, so if I select Joe, I want to view only 3 bars (Computer, Mobile, Monitor) with their usages.
