Hi there,

i also encounter another problem with the kiosk when i start it as a service via systemd.
The output of journalctl -u grafana-kiosk show the following in raspi 4.

It seems that all xset commands fail. What happens than is that the screensaver turns on after a certain time.
When i then disable the service and re enable it i get the following output

At this point the Dashboard does not start at all.
Does someone else experience this problems too ?

which version of Raspian are you running?

i'll update one of mine to this version and test, i'm still on stretch on all of mine.

i have a buster pi now :) will see what is happening differently between stretch and buster.

sorry for the delay - does /usr/bin/xset exist, and what user is running the kiosk?

this sounds like a user permission issue.

Faced a similar situation on Raspberry 2. It also does not work with the flash card that works on Raspberry 3.
P. S. I naturally replaced the binary file with * arm6

I have the same issue, using systemd style startup, if the LXDE option is set the errors are the same for me too. It seems to have started happening recently, and the real resulting problem is that the screensaver no longer disables... :(
