What happened:

When querying for Property value aggregates and trying to select a non-top level asset in the Explore page, upon selecting, the asset seems to be selected because the next field is shown. However, its name isn't displayed in the asset selection field.

What you expected to happen:
Asset name should be displayed in the selection field.

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible):

Anything else we need to know?:
This worked fine with grafana <=9 so the culprit must be the select, I would check the difference there between 8 and 9 first.
Note: Probably needs to be fixed before the next release of the plugin

Environment:

  • Grafana version: 9.4
  • Plugin version: 1.6
  • OS Grafana is installed on:
  • User OS & Browser:
  • Others:

It looks like this isn't a bug after all, just confusing test data. Asset Model was named "Asset" so it looked like it should have been able to be added into the select but that isn't the case
