Section on “Loki: Bad Gateway" explains possible causes for Docker and k8s. But you can install grafana / loki on bare metal and many people do. The possible causes and solutions for such are not discussed at all.

Note currently I'm getting 502 bad gateway on bare metal setup trying to connect to localhost instance of Loki (but not localhost instance of Prometheus).

We use a stalebot among other tools to help manage the state of issues in this project.
A stalebot can be very useful in closing issues in a number of cases; the most common
is closing issues or PRs where the original reporter has not responded.

• Add a keepalive label to silence the stalebot if the issue is very common/popular/important.
