As per #62

I'm still seeing 401 errrors - Google cloud, plugin 1.5.1

Tried multiple removals and reconfigurations. No change.

Same here, installed the Plugin within my Grafana Cloud instance. The Datasource "Save & Test" did work:

But within the dashboards:

Do you use Grafan cloud instance? I see, you do.
I'm working on OAuth pass-through option which makes it easier to work with cloud instances.

I am still getting the issue as well, is there any development on this?

I had the same problem.
Local instance.
Downgrading to 1.4.1 helped. Now the plug-in runs and connected

Same challenge with a local installation. Tried with the latest (1.5.1) and 1.4.1 data sources, but fails to to retrieve data. Can see on Strava's side API activity.

With a local installation, defining the IP address of the instance resolved the challenge, ie. not using "localhost" definition (like the documentation quickly reading states).

I've tried every permutation of configuration with 1.4.1 and 1.5.1, including setting the local address of my server(rather than localhost), still seeing the error.

EDIT: Confirmed that a downgrade to 1.3.0 resolves the issue completely. @alexanderzobnin any plans to work on this soon? There are better dashboards/performance improvements in the newer versions, it'd be nice to take advantage.

Same issue here. 1.5.1 not working.

I got it working. Clearly I can't follow the instructions.
For anyone else experiencing the issue;

  1. set the authorised callback domain in strava to be the ip of your host.
  2. Just follow the rest of the instructions basically, to a T.

Ok, that sounds strange, I will try to replicate it.

@codevbus could you describe in details what's happening in case of 1.5.1 and 1.3.0? What config do you use and what error do you get?
