Can't send the time series data to prometheus

Experiencing an error when I try to upload data with the flag K6_PROMETHEUS_RW_TREND_AS_NATIVE_HISTOGRAM=true.

I get: ERRO[0005] Failed to send the time series data to the endpoint error="HTTP POST request failed: Post "https://prometheus.metrics.traveltime.dev:9090/api/v1/write\": dial tcp 49.12.116.14:9090: connect: connection refused" output="Prometheus remote write"

Should I somehow setup prometheus to support such histograms?
