There is no documentation about team giving on the /about/teams page.

Should there be? It's the same as for "normal" accounts?

When the payday is run, is team giving processed before the funds are distributed to the team members or after?
Can/should there be a credit card attached to the team account?
What would happen if it was?

@zwn -

The first part would be internal documentation / a discussion of the payday algorithm. Something I don't think should be part of the /about/teams docs. The only reason to add something like that is if it were something most people wouldn't expect. (i.e. giving before the team takes)

Credit cards are handled the same as for "normal" accounts.

Perhaps the docs should make it more clear that a "team account" is really nothing more that a "normal account"?

It currently comes out before takes. I'd like for it to come out after takes, but that gets us into #1486.

If credit card is attached to a team account, can it be ever charged? If so, under what conditions?

Yes, it could be charged, if there isn't enough in the team's balance to cover tips during the first of the three payday loops.

I think this may be the best place to put this: magit/magit#1121

Thanks for the heads-up @joelmccracken

As I understand we only support individual giver now. Consider obsolete.

More of a duplicate of #3666.
