add ability to encrypt traffic to Splunk #5

It would be nice if there was an option to encrypt traffic to splunk to prevent any unencrypted traffic from being fowarded.

Are you guys thinking of creating a HEC output instead of raw TCP? That would make the stream encrypted at least.
