Unfortunately https://github.com/greatsuspender/thegreatsuspender/releases/tag/v7.1.6 is no longer compatible with Chromium v.104.0.5112.81.

If you had several sites that were hibernate with Chromium v.103.0.5060.134 and then upgrade to Chromium v.104.0.5112.81 - hibernate tabs remain white pages and you can't open them because the white pages are empty of content.

This wonderful extension needs to be updated to be compatible with Chromium v.104.0.5112.81 and any later version.

If you click on the white pages then your original page will become available but I agree that TGS is broken now. I can't see most of the tab icons anymore. only the TGS icons...

Another sort of fix is to click on one tab until it becomes alive again, then right click - unsuspend all tabs in window - then suspend all other tabs before it fills your RAM and freezes chrome.

Again, it is still broken but this helps though has to be done each time chrome is restarted...

Until the developer resolves the issue, a workaround.

After some digging I solved the issue:

  • Go to chrome settings => privacy and security => safety check.
  • After doing safety check it asked to relunch chrome to finish the update.

And it worked fine after that, so I hope it can help you as well.
