Use existing non-empty table that already has columns and rows populated

I already have a bunch of large html tables populated from existing server code. I just want to transform them into grid js grids.

Describe the solution you'd like
Call render on the table and it can accept the existing data and convert it to a grid js grid.

Describe alternatives you've considered
There are other javascript frameworks that can do this but grid js is the nicest one I have found so would prefer to use it if possible.
