[Bug]: Load Pack Config Loads Cached Settings? & Sodium Client Mod #464
Comments
One last thing. If I close SPC and reopen it then the correct version of the configuration loads properly. |
Heyo ClaudiusMinimus, long time no see :) 1. ConfigHave you switch the home directory of ServerPackCreator at any point or stored the config you want to load at another location? It's possible that the two configuration you are encountering are indeed two separate configs, stored at different locations. In the menu bar of ServerPackCreator, please hit "View" -> "Open installation-directory" and check the 2. Sodium
As for why Sodium is not listed when you load the old version, that's probably due to the reason I stated in 1. Config above. The new config has said entry, the old one doesn't. 3. Save, not OpenOn point, that should indeed read "Save". Nice catch, thanks! Cheers, |
Me again, Iris does not need to be in the list of client-side only mods as it specified itself as being clientside-only. Unless you've disabled ServerPackCreators autodiscovery it will automatically be excluded if no other mod in your pack depends on it in one way or another. :) Cheers, |
Griefed, Thank you for your reply. I have health issues, which is why I have not replied earlier. I think you are correct, but I have not been able to resolve the issue, mostly because of my limited mental capacity during medical flare-ups. If you have any advice, it would be appreciated, otherwise, I will have to wait until I am feeling better to investigate further. Thanks again, CM |
Heya ClaudiusMinimus, I hope you get well soon. Please do not stress yourself out over this issue. I'll try to help to the best of my abilities. To prevent issues like this from happening later down the line, I suggest storing your ServerPackCreator configs in a directory other than the ServerPackCreator directory, and then always loading your configuration(s) from there. Take your time with the rest of this issue. Health first, issues later! Cheers, |
Heya ClaudiusMinimus, any news on this issue whether it is still relevant? Cheers, |
Heyo ClaudiusMinimus, In the meantime, I will close the issue. Feel free to reopen it should the issue still be present. 🙂 Cheers, |
What happened?
It seems whenever I switch pack by loading a different config older versions of the config file loads. Are there cached versions of configs somewhere I need to clear? However, if I load Server Pack Creator (SPC) it always loads the previous config as I last set it. Today, I loaded SPC and it loaded my pack config correctly showing
