Does this build/run on windows?

I'm affraid not. From experience, I probably missed an include or two, plus wrappers for windows sockets, as well as that UNIX sockets feature won't work, but that's not such a loss. The core functionality should compile/run fine though.

Do you have resources to test/build this?
