When producing a product the servings from the recipe will give the number of default quantity units of the produced product. But that is not always the case.
An example:
I like sandwiches and I use a special dressing “remoulade” that is best if it is produced at least a day before but it can last at least 3 weeks in the fridge. I therefor make it in batches.
Recipe “Remoulade production”:
1 liter mayonnaise
1 liter relish
gently mixed and put in a box in the fridge.
This recipe gives 2 liter of remoulade an for 1 sandwich I normally use 50 ml. This gives 40 servings for each batch.
I then make a product that the recipe can produce to called “Remoulade”. I her name the default stock Quantity to Liter as well.
But when I produce 1 serving of “remoulade production” it makes 1 litre of Remoulade. If I use the base of the recipe ( 40) it produce 40 litre.
I therefor wonder if it would be possible to have like a factor in the recipe that combine the savings with the default quantity unit for the produced product?
Of cause there are other solutions, but this one is almost like the one you are putting in the vNEXT in products for the quick consume amount.
An potion to set the amount to be added to the stock when consuming the recipe.
The QU would the be the one of the actually product that is produced.

Bug: Amount of product produced using recipe can not be matched
Feature Request: Set recipe "produces product"-amount on demand instead of using the servings amount
