Currently there are no tests at all. I do strongly recommend to add some.

#2 contains a minimal setup for running tests. But a more thorough understanding of the actual functionality is needed to generate a reasonably complete test bed.

IMHO we can close this issue as you kindly added a couple of tests (https://github.com/gs1-germany/palletBayCalculator/blob/main/javascript/test.js)?
