image-rotation? #12
Comments
I'm replying to myself here... This does not appear to be an issue with this plugin but rather an issue with Windows. It seems windows orients a picture based on its manipulation of EXIF data. Other applications do not necessarily recognize this image orientation and the image consequently is displayed in its native landscape/portrait format. I suppose the challenge is getting the plugin to read the exif data and re-orient the image. |
Thanks for reporting this. What browser were you using with Windows? |
I was using File Explorer to view the image in Windows and Chrome to upload it to Moodle 3.5.1 |
Ah right, doesn't sound related to the filter then. Do you mind if I close this? |
It seems when an portrait image is uploaded, it is auto-rotated 90 degrees clock-wise. Why is this?
