Hi,

Thanks a lot for the module. I think gulp uses this module for watching files and it works great!

Gaze is now at v0.6.4 and supports native OS events that takes much less resources. I'm not sure if it's fully compatible, but it'd be nice if you can update to use the later version.

Thanks!

I'll update when @shama says it is stable. We tried updating to 0.6 before and it broke a bunch of stuff

Gaze 0.6.0 is an important release for performance because of the switch from polling to native events.

It's been several months since the last Gaze release, which is a sign of stability.

Would you accept a patch if a patch to glob-watcher fixed the "bunch of stuff" that needs to updated here as part of upgrading the Gaze dependency?

@markstos gaze@0.6.0 causes the process to hang, doesn't allow multiple instances and requires users to compile the native events. When scaled to amount of users gulp has, the compiling part is a big problem, especially for Windows users.

FWIW, I now have all those mentioned issues addressed in this platform layer for gaze: https://github.com/shama/navelgazer and next up is integrating that into gaze and more testing.

@shama -- sounds good. Thanks!
