I don't know how difficult it would be, but it would be interesting if the bot sent the media to the channel (ctrl+s dialog), and not using a virtual card to play back

I thing this is totally unfeasible. The method we currently use is much more versatile than plain media file type streaming, especially when it comes to volume control, seeking and
media format support.
