Gmaps glitchy appearance

On my Windows machines, with clean installs of WordPress, Google Map fields seem to be outputting strangely. There are slight "ruptures" in the map, and the top-left controls are visually broken, almost unusable.

This is only on the front-end - in the admin display is perfect.

Other developers have not been able to replicate this. Please let me know if you can!

Might this be something to do with browser zoom? I've had a few issues like this with maps where I'd accidentally hit a browser zoom keyboard shortcut, and once I'd reset the zoom it displayed correctly.
