Is there a way to revive a dead LTE/4g modem in DJA0231?

I recently got my hands on a new in box DJA0231 and have been having a bit of fun rooting and installing third party UI mods.
But roughly a week after getting it, the LTE modem is no longer detected.

Is it possible to reflash the firmware on the LTE modem chip or something like that to bring it back from the dead? Or is it just a lost cause?

Edit: It rebooted today and the LTE modem came back on its own. Weird.
