Seems like libmemcached is unmaintained since 2014. Perhaps we/you should migrate to something else?

Because of #1946 I considered submitting a bugreport / patch for libmemcached, but looking at the existing bugreports, it doesn't seem like this would change anything.

I think the problem is not in the memcache client, but in the cluster architecture of memcached. The key distribution relies on the client. So there is always some situation that two clients can have different view of the cluster topology.

We have plan to support Redis in the future, whose cluster architecture is more robust.

Hello, any progress for redis? It seems that redis is only used for message push instead of cache now (pro 8.0.x).

Yes Redis will be supported in version 10.
