Customized Slides Overviewpage

I would like to have a separate slides overview page (similar to "Overview Mode"), where the slides (with preview) are listed in a grid next to each other or below each other. Is this possible ? What kind of reveal.js configuration would I have to use ?

This isn't possible out of the box. Currently the Overview Mode zooms out from the presentation (puts a style="transform: ..." on the .reveal > .slides element) & presumably also positions slides on a horizontal track.

A grid overview would have to hide or collapse vertical slides if they exist.
