Elementary OS is not directly supported by Wubiuefi. i.e. we try to fix issues for Ubuntu flavours . If a distro uses the same installer, it is possible that it also works.

Each Ubuntu based distro has also differences. Some differences are compatible with Wubiuefi, ,some differences are not compatible. Especially, different installers are often not compatible.

There are reports that older versions of elementary OS do work with Wubiuefi.

The problem is that it blows up the scope of Wubiuefi to be compatible with all possible differences of Ubuntu based distros.

In the past, there were a lot of Ubuntu based distros which did not work with original Wubi because of minor differences. e.g version numbers and distro names

Wubiuefi has a feature which helps to accept ISOs of a lot Ubuntu based distros with different version numbers and various names.

But that feature does not mean that all Ubuntu based distros are supported. Unfortunately, there is no time within Wubiuefi project to test all Ubuntu based distros or to fix issues which are only occur with those distros.
