handsontable not work under ie7? #631

it's not work when i test the demo "http://handsontable.com/demo/ajax.html" under IE7
1.anything was show that when it run under IE7.
2.size of the table is too small to see it. the menu only show a part when i click the right mouse.

Thanks, I know about the IE7 problems. IE7 support will be restored soon.

I think Handsontable 0.8.21 was the last version that supported IE7 correctly. Can you use that until we fix the problems?

maybe the size of the table is incorrect. and the menu is ok.

what exactly doesn't work in 0.8.21 / IE7? for me it seems to work ok: http://scr.hu/0cbq/hgojh

0.7.5 is very old, I would advise to use something from 0.8.x branch until we fix the problem

But these are errors in your app, right? Does the demo/ajax.html page work when you checkout it from GitHub tag v0.8.21?

I find the reason of my page show incorrect, it's works well when i add "<!doctype html>" at the start of html source .
handsontable is very good job!

Thanks for sharing the solution. I remember there was a simmilar case in the past.

For future, I created a new wiki page FAQ that will collect answers for problems like this
