Add a new printer to cups

Is there a way to add a new printer from java and save it in cups?

Hi,
it would be possible to add a cups operation to cups4j that could add or remove printers. Actually I do not have any plan to add administrative stuff like that.
If this was a general need for cups4j users I could think of adding it.

You could also add this operation and create a pull request yourself.
