Description

Workforce pools allows the workforce (employees, contractors, partners, etc) of a GCP enterprise customer to access GCP resources through federation (e.g. OIDC and SAML) without syncing their accounts to Cloud Identity. It is an important feature for GCP enterprise customers, and it is not available on Terraform today.

New or Affected Resource(s)

  • google_iam_workforce_pool
  • google_iam_workforce_pool_provider

Potential Terraform Configuration

Something similar to this:

resource "google_iam_workforce_pool" "example_pool" {
  workforce_pool_id = "example_pool_id"
  parent            = "organizations/org_id"
  location          = "global"
}
